So the Lakewood/Englewood Denver Post YouHub hit porches today and it’s a fun piece. They definately took a personal interest look at my “business” and picked a couple of interesting photos. I am still working on getting permission to reprint, and I can’t find it anywhere online or on the YourHub.com site.

My wife and I love to go to Disney World in Orlando with our two boys. We’ll be the first to admit it’s a bit of overkill, but I would rather vacation with my kids than upgrade my kitchen. Although we always stay in a Disney hotel, we’ve often toyed with renting a home and seeing other sites. One of the companies I’ll be using the next trip (2012) is Villa4Less, Orlando vacation homes for rent. Why stay in a hotel when you can rent a private Orlando vacation home just minutes from Disney World, Universal Studios and many other attractions.

Today my 14 year old son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. My son is also my clown Gizmo. What a shock. I plan on keeping a log of our journey so I can remember the trials and tribulations we’ll go through as a family over the next few weeks, then months, then years. I pray they find a cure but in the meantime, we have a ton of learning to do about diabetes.
